Junior Hoopers
The Junior Hoopers program includes grades 2 and 3 for boys and girls and is an introduction to basketball The program teaches the fundamentals of basketball on a 7 foot high rim in a relaxed and pressure free atmosphere. The Jr. Hoopers perform basketball exhibitions for parents and friends on four occasions throughout the basketball season.
At the second and third grade level our goals include:
Introduction to the sport and rules
Developing basic skills
Maximum participation is encouraged
Learning to be part of a team |
